JOIN OUR SOCIETY
OUR TOURNAMENTS
We cater to two main groups of golfers:
Advanced & Intermediates:
- Golfers with a handicap between 1-18 (Advanced) and 19-36 (Intermediates).
- These are players who know their way around the course and understand the pace, rules, and etiquette of the game.
Beginners & Newbies:
- Golfers who have practiced a few times at the range or played a couple of rounds. These are generally golfers who don't have or don't know their golf handicap.
- These could also be absolute beginners who want to start learning golf from scratch.
Our tournaments run monthly and we currently boast a community of 250 active members.
WHO WE ARE
The London Clubhouse started as a small community of international golfers. As we grew, we created a large WhatsApp group to share details of upcoming golf outings. Here’s how it works:
- The Admin posts details about upcoming events.
- The group is muted except on the day of the event, allowing for questions, ride sharing, fun banter, and sharing photos and videos.
- The group is muted again at midnight on the event day.
We are expanding in partnership with the US Alumni Club, comprising 60+ American university alumni chapters. Our membership is 40% American, 20% international, and 40% British, with 30% of our members being women.
ADVANCED & INTERMEDIATE TOURNAMENTS
For our more experienced players, we organise exclusive tournaments where we play 18 holes followed by a social gathering with food and drinks. We rotate courses each month, with recent venues including:
BEGINNERS & NEWBIES TOURNAMENTS
Our inclusive tournaments welcome players of all levels. Beginners and absolute newbies can join in, meet other beginners, and get guidance from more experienced players. These events are usually held at short par-3 courses like Dukes Meadows or practice ranges like Greenwich Peninsula. We always stay for a good time after the game!
ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL GOLF TRIP
Each year, we organise an international golf trip. Past destinations include:
- Lisbon 2022
- Ryder Cup in Rome 2023
- Cascais, Portugal 2024

By joining The London Clubhouse, you gain access to our community and tournaments. You decide whether to join our muted Whatsapp group, or whether to only receive notifications by email, or both.
Please note, the subscription fee does not cover greens fees (the fee golf clubs charge to play), golf trolley or club rentals, or transportation. Most courses are conveniently reachable by tube or a short train ride.
